This online course introduces the Framework for 21st Century Learning from the Partnership for 21st Century Skills to re-envision learning and prepare students for a rapidly evolving global and technological world. Participants will discover why highly respected education leaders, researchers, and innovators believe these skills are necessary, which skills are most important, and how to best help teachers to include these skills in curriculum and instruction. Additionally, this course examines the intersection of 21st Century Skills and the integration of technology. Various 21st Century Skills frameworks, theories of learning, and models for technology integration will be explored. Through research-based readings, conceptual designs, discussions, and hands-on technology practice, course participants will develop a thorough understanding of 21st Century Skills and the application of technology tools to support these skills.
